General Intention
That in less developed parts of the world the proclamation of the Word of God may renew people’s hearts, encouraging them to work actively toward authentic social progress.

Mission Intention
That by opening our hearts to love we may put an end to the numerous wars and conflicts which continue to bloody our world.

General Intention
That those who are without work or homes or who are otherwise in serious need find understanding and welcome as well as concrete help in overcoming their difficulties.

Mission Intention
That the Church may be a “home” for all people, ready to open its doors to any who are suffering from racial or religious discrimination, hunger, or wars forcing them to emigrate to other countries.

General Intention
That in every nation of the world the election on officials be carried out with justice, transparency and honesty, respecting the free decisions of the citizens.

Mission Intention
That Christians may strive to offer everywhere, but especially in great urban centers, an effective contribution to the promotion of education, justice, solidarity and peace.

Lord Jesus, we lift up to you our dear shepherd and all other priests. We know that in their closeness to you their hearts shall be molded into yours. We humbly ask for the grace of healing and renewal. We thank you for our good, holy and dedicated priests. We remember in a special way the priests who baptized us, the priests who heard our confessions, who journeyed with our family in the best and worst of times, who guided and encouraged us, who shared with us your Body and Blood. They are your wonderful gifts to us. We thank you for them. We beg you to give them more courage to endure the cross for you. Stay close to them and keep them safe in your embrace. Amen.
